New: Form Knurling Tool RD2 - 162. Hommel + Keller Präzisionswerkzeuge GmbH offers a product programme of high quality knurling tools for cut and form knurling applications, a wide range of knurling wheels, as well as customized tools for specific applications. Difficult machining materials, thin-walled work pieces, conical and front knurls: A ZEUS knurling tool guarantees optimal results.
Achieving optimal knurling results was also a key issue for the development of the new tool series RW 162. The axially working knurling tools complement the product range by providing an economic solution for machines with limited work space.
As there is no interference with adjacent tool holders by the knurling tool, a flexible tool setting is possible. Hence, complex work pieces can be produced on one machine.
The tool series is also suitable for back end working, whereby the flexibility in machine usage is further increased.
The main application for the RW162 series
lies in the processing of small work piece diameters (processing possible from 1 mm), with low radial pressure being exerted on the work piece. Furthermore, through its modular concept, the RW 162 series can be used for knurling to a shoulder.
